Industrial vision inspection

Built on industrial vision series models and X-ray models on crusbro agent-OS: acquisition, judgement, gray-zone review, alerts and QMS/MES writeback per station. Product: Industrial Vision Agent; this page covers solution delivery.

Typical scenarios

Scenario 1: Surface defects on assembly stations

Multi-camera + timed lighting; edge inference for scratches, dents and contamination; low confidence to review station; images and rationale written to QMS by inspection lot ID.

Scenario 2: Critical inline measurement

Calibration blocks on schedule; out-of-tolerance alerts with sort or line-stop suggestions (HITL required); measurement series bound to work order with recipe revision replay.

Scenario 3: X-ray reading and dual-sign

Model assists localization and suspects; gray-zone and high-risk conclusions require dual human sign-off; QC gate cannot be bypassed; evidence includes model version and signers.

  • Electronics: solder joints, polarity, conformal coat
  • Automotive: stamping dents, hole position, weld appearance
  • Medical devices: seal integrity, label OCR, foreign objects

Industry know-how: three station types

TypeField notesTypical gates
Surface AOILighting consistency often beats model choice; over-reject from glareBad-image block; low confidence to review station
Inline measurementCalibration schedule, drift and fixture wear in recipe revisionOut-of-tolerance alert; line-stop suggestion needs HITL
X-rayQC gate for exposure/blur excluded from model metrics; dual-sign mandatoryAssist only—not a substitute for certified readers

Main chain: trigger → preprocess → infer → threshold → (gray) review/dual-sign → sort → QMS/MES → sample feedback. Shadow period: report only, no production release until aligned.

Fit: clear takt, QMS/MES integration, high miss cost. Not fit: no calibration/gold set, zero-shot production release. Combines with smart manufacturing or single-station pilot.
